Red Nights
A captivating photo series that immerses viewers in landscapes bathed in a surreal crimson glow, evoking a sense of melancholy and dystopian beauty. Each image, illuminated by artificial red light reflects the processing of difficult times.
Ethereal: The isolated bush by the dirt road is captured in a dreamy mist, creating a sense of ethereal otherworldliness.
Melancholic Dreams: The photo portrays a feeling of neglect and decay, with the harsh red lighting and contrast with blue adding to the melancholic mood. The abandoned shed, surrounded by overgrown vegetation and a fence that is collapsing, creates a sense of abandonment and forgotten memories. The overall atmosphere is one of melancholic reminiscence, inviting the viewer to reflect on the passage of time and the beauty found in decay. This is one of my very favourites and actually the first photo I took for the project.
Dystopian Visions: This photo captures a mesmerizing, fiery abyss that invites the viewer to get lost in its depths. The vibrant red hue creates a captivating atmosphere, drawing one's gaze into the infinite void. This is one of my favourites because of that.
Enigma: The darkness beyond the gate adds to the enigmatic atmosphere, tempting the viewer to imagine what lies beyond. The photo's title only adds to the mystery, evoking a sense of uncertainty and making one wonder what secrets are waiting to be uncovered.
